Ubiquiti Rocket M5 Titanium is a powerful outdoor unit for the 5 GHz band with AirMAX AirSync for synchronization APs. The device allows you to easily create the backbone connections or access points with real speed up to 150MB/s. The new metal housing of unit provides a major advantage as better shielding against radiation outside antenna. With built-in GPS receiver uses the synchronization feature AirSync broadcast series with other AP using feature AirSync, which allows efficient use of bandwidth to increase speed and reduce the latency of the AP. GPS receiver is used for error-free transmission and reception timing. For this feature, simply set the main drive as master and the others as slave. The unit can be used to link Point-to-Point or Point-to-MultiPoint. Rocket devices may be deployed in PtP bridging or PtMP airMAX BaseStation applications. Unlike standard WiFi protocol, Ubiquiti’s Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller.
