Breakthrough Wireless Performance, AirMax and AirControl Support
100+Mbps of real outdoor throughput and up to 30km+ range. AirGrid products utilize Ubiquiti's revolutionary AirMax™ TDMA protocol enabling scalable, carrier-class PtMP network performance. Additionally, AirControl™ application allows operators to centrally manage 100's of devices. AirGrid M5 High Power works in Router or Bridge mode. WiFi interface supports Access Point, Access Point WDS, Client, Client WDS modes. AirGrid works with platform based on MikroTik RotuerOS. The device is equipped with Atheros MIPS 24KC processor clocked at 400MHz, with 32MB SDRAM, 8MB Flash and one Ethernet 10/100Mbps port. Passive PoE power supply. AC with PoE 24V 0,5A addaptor is included. The quality of received WiFi signal is represented with four LED diodes, which can be assigned to represent signal strenght. Built-in overvoltage protection / ESD extends the longevity of the device exposed to adverse external influences. The AirGrid is compatible with AirMax protocol, which allows to eliminate the problem of hidden stations by allocating time slots to devices (TDMA), in which a non collision transmission occurs. It allows to reach maximum bandwidth even with dozens client stations connected to access point. Included is a mounting bracket with two pipe clamps which allows to install the Air Grid on a mast. AirGrid High Power is designed to make efficient WiFi bridges or as a client on wide distances from base station.
